Path of Exile Launches Blight Expansion, Launching on PS4 and Xbox on September 9
Path of Exile yesterday and its scheduled to launch on consoles on September 9th. As with previous Path of Exile expansions, the game's playerbase rocketed from a pre-release average of ~9000 players to over 50,000 and a peak of ~74,000 on Steam alone on launch day.

With the new expansion of course comes a new league - the Blight Challenge League. Key features of the new Blight expansion include:
- 3 revamped balance archetypes (Necromancer, Poison Assassin, and the Mine Saboteur)
- new skills and gems
- new items (including uniques)
- 2 old leagues being integrated into the core game
- Blight infested late game maps
- New oils which can be used to enchant accessories
