Perfect World International's Elysium Update Is Its Biggest Yet, Headed To Steam
Perfect World International soon. Supposedly, it will be Perfect World's largest update yet, consisting of player housing, a new instance, and cross-server PvP events.
Player housing in Perfect World will be introduced in the form of Homesteads. Players will be able to "build and customize" a house for themselves using the new Homestead System. Players an also use their Homesteads to "craft items, offer contract jobs, and generate precious resources."
The new instance is Uncharted Paradise, a max level, 10-player instance. It is set in a once "prosperous" area that has been "divided into seven pieces of land after Pan Gu flooded the world." This instance features seven "trials," each of which has its own boss, and is meant to "bring players one step closer to becoming a true Celestial."
Several other features, such as "weekly cross-server PvP tournaments," new gear, and new mounts will also be introduced in this update. More will be revealed "over the coming weeks."
With the launch of this update, Perfect World will finally be headed to Steam. An exact date for the Steam launch has yet to be announced.
