Phantasy Star Online 2 Launching on the Epic Games Store on Feb 17

Sega announced today that Phantasy Star Online 2 will be launching on the Epic Games Store on February 17th. The global version of the game originally launched exclusively on the Microsoft Store on May 27th, 2020 and later came to Steam in August and is now making its way to the Epic Games Store.

"We are so happy to be releasing Phantasy Star Online 2 Global on the Epic Games Store," said Fred White from PSO2 Team Global. "With all the huge updates to the game over the past year, including the newest Chapter 6 update, there's more content than ever to explore and play through. We can't wait to welcome in all the new players to the PSO2 universe!"

While the Steam launch definitely expanded the game's playerbase, I'm not so sure a launch on Epic Games will have nearly the same impact, but it definitely can't hurt and will definitely bring some new s to the game.

In other Phantasy Star Online 2 news, the game recently launched its massive episode 6 update along with the new Luster class, so if you took a break from the game, now is a great time to go back.
