Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis is mixing things up this week with a fresh content update. The MMORPG, which has a track record of frequent updates and crossovers, is currently in the midst of a month-long event series. This latest patch offers a new limited-time quest and a special collaboration event with the popular anime "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" (also known as TenSura).

Players can look forward to taking on the return of the Malignant Dark Falz Dalion urgent quest. This eight-player boss battle serves up an easier version of a previous high-difficulty fight, making it more accessible to those who may have struggled last time. Meanwhile, the TenSura collab brings themed rewards and cosmetics, continuing PSO2: New Genesis’s history of weaving in anime properties.
