Phantasy Star Online 2 Will Add Two New Classes When Episode 6 Kicks Off On December 9
Phantasy Star Online 2. Now, the devs are looking to add two more classes to the sci-fi MMORPG, the Etoile and Phantom. Both classes will make their western debut with the release of Episode 6 on December 9th.
“Episode 6 introduces the Phantom Class AND the Etoile Class; both are part of the Scions. The Phantom adeptly uses Rods, Katanas, and Assault Rifles in a manner unique to their Class. But their advantage doesn’t end there, for they can quickly modify their Rod or Katana’s standard Photon Arts on the fly with the use of a Weapon Action, thus executing a Shift Photon Art and increasing the variety of attacks they can perform. Even their Techniques, when executed with a Rod in hand, provide an additional Technique Attack.”
Aside from the two new classes, Episode 6 will also bump up the level cap to 95 and will introduce new story quests, and a new Urgent Quest called “Armada of Annihilation: Interception”. The Urgent Quest will feature a massive space battle against the Goddess of Annihilation Shiva and new, tougher, and more challenging enemy types. Two new pets will also be available to Summoners once the update hits the servers.
The Road to Episode 6 campaign is now live in the game which is designed to help players gear up for the next chapter of the fantasy MMORPG. During the campaign, players will have the chance to acquire a 15-star weapon and 12-star units along with emotes, weapon skins, SG, and more.
