RIFT Offers NA Players A Chance To Transfer Their Characters Ahead Of Server Merges

Classic free-to-play MMORPG Gamigo is giving everyone on the affected servers a chance to choose where they’ll end up with. The merges will be confined to the North American server group with the goal of ensuring healthy server populations in the region.

Gamigo has yet to lock in a date for the server merges but players will have until March 25 to manually transfer their characters from Faeblight, Hailol, or Seastone to Greybriar, Laethys, or Wolfsbane. It’s not mandatory, but the devs will be transferring your characters anyway so you might as well choose, especially if you regularly play with friends.

The team promises more information on which servers will be merged together and how they’ll be handling character transfers for those who choose to remain behind. You can check out Gamigo’s character transfer guide if you’re planning to take the devs up on their offer.
