Shot Online Rolls Out First Major 2025 Update with Club Recycling and Gaia’s Blessing Systems

Shot Online, introducing new gameplay systems and a slate of limited-time events running through June 25. The update focuses on adding more value to unused items and expanding character progression options through crafting and buff mechanics.

Shot Online, originally released in 2004, blends realistic golf mechanics with RPG elements, including gear upgrades, character stats, and tournaments. It remains one of the few persistent online golf MMOs still actively updated today.

Key features of the May 2025 update:

  • Club Recycling System:
    • Lets players recycle up to five golf clubs for tiered rewards based on total value
    • Rewards range from Level 1 to Level 5, with higher tiers offering better loot
    • Preview shows five possible rewards, and if three are Gold-tiered, players get a bonus reward: Bonus Acquisition Ticket Pouch +1 x5
    • Players who post a screenshot of their recycling result on the Shot Online Community page will receive a One Point Lesson Ticket 500
  • Gaia’s Blessing System:
    • New enhancement system tied to Gaia’s Golden Cup
    • Players collect Crystal Shards from events and recycling to craft Gaia’s Silver or Golden Crystals
    • Equipping these activates a buff that extends the current World Ranking Tour Buff, stacking benefits during active ranking weeks
  • Happy Course (EXP) System Update:
    • Players can now choose any course to receive EXP bonuses, improving flexibility in leveling and daily play

Limited-Time Events (Until June 25):

  • Extra Speed Points Event: Complete missions to earn Speed Points that can be used in the Speed Point Shop for exclusive event items
  • Cumulative Attendance Event: daily for up to 21 days to earn rewards like:
    • Superior Courage Token Exchange Ticket
    • Grace Vela VIP Card – 3 Days [50%]
