Star Trek Online Season 11.5 Pits You Against The Na'Kuhl On April 12th
Star Trek Online will be receiving a mid-season update, Season 11.5, on April 12th. The update will introduce a new episode called Temporal Front that pits players against Na'Kuhl Temporal Agents that are trying to destroy the Federation. In the episode, players will go back in time to "prevent the Na’Kuhl from destroying the present by invading our past."
The update will also introduce a Skill System revamp that is intended to make the leveling experience "much more rewarding" and the process of choosing skills "easier to understand." A "streamlined, easy-to-use interface" will replace the old one, including "more detailed descriptions" and other improvements.
Other additions include the Strategist Secondary Specialization that allows players to choose abilities that can "shift between offensive and defensive effects at will." The Romulan iralty Campaign will allow players to complete missions for the Romulan Republic in exchange for various rewards. A new Na'Kuhl Red Alerts system will notify players when they can queue up to take on the Na'Kuhl in groups of five.
