Steam Announces The Platform’s Best Games Of 2021
Valve has revealed the biggest games on Steam this year just a few days before 2021 officially comes to a close. As is the norm on the game distribution platform, the list is categorized into Top Sellers, Most Played, and Top New Releases which include the usual array of titles along with a sprinkling of both AAA and indie games thrown into the mix.
Dota 2. The Viking-themed sandbox game also makes it into the Platinum category of Steam’s Top New Releases and Most Played Games for 2021.
Other notable newcomers include Amazon Games’ Dead by Daylight has apparently gotten a popularity boost as it secures a spot on the platform’s Platinum Top Sellers list while Turtle Rock Studio’s Back 4 Blood gets a Gold ranking in the same list.
Resident Evil Village, Age of Empires VI, Farming Simulator 22, and Forza Horizon also make it into the Top New Releases for 2021.
Meanwhile, Steam’s annual winter sale is still in full swing with games being offered at ridiculous discounts until January 5th.
