Lead Engineer Andy Lim delves into the technical side of Arclight Rumble, explaining how the game calculates accumulated XP for each mini without breaking the game’s database or losing the ability to adjust the XP progression curve whenever the situation demands it.
“The game designers have the flexibility to change how much experience is needed to gain a level. They might decide that it’s too hard to level up at low levels and decrease the amounts needed to get to the next level,” Lim revealed.
