Wild Terra 2: New Lands Makes The Jump From Early Access To Full Release

nearly two years in Early Access. Wild Terra 2 was announced back in 2019 just two years after the original game’s release after the developers itted that they’ve reached Wild Terra’s technological limits.

The sequel’s official launch also marked the opening of new servers for newbies to while the old early access servers will get a Legacy tag and won’t be available to new players by default. Steam Achievements are also now available on the new servers.

Wild Terra 2’s population though has been relatively low all throughout early access, peaking at just over 1500 people since its early access launch. Average player concurrency over the past few months has been at around 120-150 players although the official launch did bump player numbers up to a daily peak concurrency of 275 players.

The low population is presumably due to the game’s rather steep entry price. The game is normally priced at $39.99 but is currently on sale at $35.99 until November 18th if you want to grab a copy.
