World Of Warcraft Recently Sent Out Random Surveys About A Future ‘Level Squish’
Blizzard Entertainment kept raising the level cap until we finally hit level 120 with Battle for Azeroth. That’s double the original level cap. Now obviously, Blizzard can’t do this forever, right? Their solution? A “level squish” or reducing the max level to a more manageable number.
According to Blizzard Watch, the studio is reportedly sending out e-mail surveys about a possible level cap reduction with the following questions:
“Are you aware that the maximum level of 120 will be reduced in the future (i.e., ‘Level Squish’)?
The ‘Level Squish’ will reduce the total number of levels required to access the most current game content. The new level cap will be dramatically lower than the current level cap of 120. How much would you like or dislike a reduction in total character levels.”
