Wrath of the Lich King Launching for WoW: Classic Later this Year
World of Warcraft: Classic later this year. The launch of WotlK should come as no surprise as Classic has been a big hit since its launch and with many players exhausting all the content in The Burning Crusade, this next expansion should be welcomed.
Wrath of the Lich King isn't exactly new, but in case you forgot or didn't know, it introduces the following to the game:
- New continent of Northrend
- Increased level cap to 80 (with level 70 boosts available)
- New playable class 'Death Knight' (Starts at level 55)
- New profession 'Inscription'
- Achievement System
- New dungeons & Raids
What's interesting though is that the dungeon finder feature which was added during this expansion will NOT be in Classic. Players have voiced their opinion on the issue and the community seems to agree that adding the dungeon finder would harm the social elements of the game.
