Last Epoch Overview
Last Epoch is a top-down action RPG inspired by games like Path of Exile. The game launched its Kickstarter campaign in mid April 2018 and is aiming for a full release in 2020. The game will be free to play until level 20, but will require a one-time $15 purchase to continue from that point. A playable (single player) demo is already available, and the game looks like a promising project for fans of classic isometric action RPGs. Perhaps the most interesting feature in Last Epoch is the ability to travel through time and visit each of the game's zones in 4 distinct eras: the Ancient, Divine, Imperial, and Ruined eras.

Development on Last Epoch began in April 2017, approximately one year before the launch of the Kickstarter campaign. Eleventh Hour Games, the studio behind Last Epoch, is based in Plano Texas and consists of approximate 24 people. Last Epoch is a top-down action RPG heavily inspired by similiar games in the genre including Diablo 3, Path of Exile, and Grim Dawn. The game was released on Steam as an Early Access title on April 30, 2019.
