The Wagadu Chronicles is an Afrocentric fantasy MMORPG with a strong focus on role-playing. Accompanied by an offline tabletop D&D 5th Edition compatible lorebook, The Wagadu Chronicles promises an immersive gaming experience. Players can customize unique characters with access to dozens of skills with a unique grind-free progression system. Player interaction and cooperation are the key focus in this sandbox MMORPG with a player-driven economy and in-depth crafting system.

Development History / Background:
Twin Drums was founded in 2019 by Allan Cudicio. The following year the Kickstarter campaign for The Wagadu Chronicles began. The project raised ~$185,000 via Kickstarter, but also received a $10 million investment by Riot Games as the first recipient in their Underrepresented Founders Program. The first Alpha test for the game took place in February 2022. The game released into Steam Early Access on December 04, 2023 and was shut down on May 18, 2024.
