Activision Officially Unveils Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 And Warzone 2.0
Activision and Infinity Ward officially took the wraps off Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 in the official reveal stream earlier this week. The game’s single-player campaign will revolve around the drug war against the Columbian cartel and will feature the return of several iconic characters from the series.
“Task Force 141 makes its massive return with a global squad of iconic veterans, these Operators include Captain John Price, Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley, John ‘Soap’ MacTavish, Kyle ‘Gaz’ Garrick and introducing Mexican Special Forces Colonel Alejandro Vargas.”
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 promises to bring the popular franchise to new heights with state-of-the-art gameplay, an advanced AI system, all new gun handling mechanics, a new Gunsmith, and other graphical and gameplay enhancements. The game will launch with a single-player campaign, multiplayer, and a narrative-driven Special Ops co-op mode.
Warzone 2.0 was also unveiled during the reveal stream, a new free-to-play experience with a new map and a new sandbox mode that will be arriving on PC as well as on current and next-gen consoles later this year.

As for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, that’s coming out on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S on October 28th.
