Apex Legends Introduces New Story-Driven Events Called Chronicles
Battle royale shooter Apex Legends kicks off a series of new narrative-style events today called Apex Chronicles which will give players a chance to dive deeper into the stories of each of the game’s characters through gameplay challenges and experiences.
The Chronicles event starts with Bloodhound’s story and the quest “Old Ways, New Dawn.” To start the quest, choose Bloodhound as your Legend and seek out the white raven in World’s Edge on a non-ranked BR match.
“During this event, players who choose Bloodhound will be given the chance to go on an adventure. The journey follows Bloodhound as they try to save an injured prowler and deal with the guilt over their crumbling home world and past failures.”
The challenges will be unique to Bloodhound and will be limited to World’s Edge, his hometown. Each player will be assigned unique paths to take so they don’t overlap with other players trying to complete the same quest. Players will also be able to resume their progress from the last saved checkpoint if they can’t complete the Chronicle within a single match.
Battle Stars will be awarded for each completed chapter and three Bloodhound-themed Apex Packs for completing the whole Bloodhound Chronicle. More information can be found on the Apex Legends official site.
