ArcheAge Rolls Out New Swiftblade Skills And Multiple Skill Balance Tweaks

This week’s ArcheAge and ArcheAge Unchained update is a bit heftier than usual, featuring a long list of skill balance adjustments and the addition of two new Swiftblade skills.

“Swiftblade skills are difficult to control as they entail a lot of combos given their nature. Hence we are planning to reduce this difficulty and fatigue by changing certain skills into continuous effects,” explained the devs in the update preview. “We are also planning to add a new form of skill based on the improvements that have been made to the restricted usage of ‘Fleeting Footsteps’ given the skill's long cooldown.”

Kakao Games also planned to add a matchmaking cancellation penalty in this week’s update but had to push it back to April 21st due to last minute issues. Once the update rolls out, players who deliberately cancel or delay matchmaking will be restricted from entering the arena for a certain amount of time. The devs will also be making changes to weekly quest resets and Drill Camp Arena entry times and will be improving rewards for faction competition content this month.
