ARK: Survival Ascended Launches On Xbox As PlayStation Version Awaits Certification
Xbox Series X|S s can now drop onto The Island to begin their dino survival adventures as ARK: Survival Evolved officially launches on the next-gen console. PlayStation 5 s will have to wait a bit longer as Studio Wildcard pushes back the ARK: Survival Evolved remaster’s launch on the platform to early December.
According to developer Studio Wildcard, the delay is due to last minute issues that need to be addressed before Sony certifies the remaster ready for release on the platform. In the meantime, the official cross-platform play between PC and Xbox is now available via cross-platform mods.
In line with ARK: Survival Ascended’s Xbox launch, the team has opened up over 300 new official servers, including console-exclusive Small Tribes and boosted rate servers.
