Dauntless Makes Its Way To Nintendo Switch And Japan Along With The Stormchaser Update
Dauntless continues to draw in more Slayers to add to its already 15 million strong playerbase as the game debuts in a new region and a new platform. Phoenix Labs’ surprisingly popular monster-slaying game has officially launched in Japan with full localization and on the Nintendo Switch with full cross-platform .

Phoenix Labs has also rolled out the massive Stormchaser update for all platforms, the biggest free content update for the game since it launched in open beta in May last year. The update introduces the new Escalation game mode which features dual Behemoth encounters in a new sequential hunt with roguelike elements.
“Escalation, challenges Slayers to best waves of Behemoths imbued with unique modifiers, presenting some of the most challenging battles Slayers have come to face yet,” says Phoenix Labs. “Escalation offers procedurally-generated Behemoth encounters, ensuring that no run feels the same. Slayers can choose from a variety of Amps that offer a range of defensive and offensive boosts following each successful encounter, and unlock more using talent points earned through Escalation runs.”
