Dauntless Upgrades Deepfrost Embermane To Behemoth Status Alongside Frostfall 2021
Winter festivities are now underway in the Shattered Isles as Dauntless officially kicks off its Frostfall 2021. This year’s winter event will run until January 6th and will feature the traditional assortment of activities along with new ones to keep things fresh.
During the event, players will be able to build forts, snowball fights, and find Farslayer gifts scattered across the Shattered Isles. Players will also be able to take on four new quests and two new hunts in the Snowblind Wastes against the Krolachi and the Deepfrost Embermane which has been upgraded to full Behemoth status and renamed Frostwülf.
“This icy foe has received multiple balance refinements, an updated journal entry and music track, its own mastery card, and a full set of armour and weapons you can now craft from its parts.
Head on down to Snowblind Wastes to face off with the Frostwülf in a special island event. Encounter waves of different Behemoths in a fight that culminates in a final showdown with the Frostwülf. All Behemoths in this event are particularly resistant to attacks from regular weapons, so you will need to figure out creative ways to take them down!”
In addition to Frostfall 2021, developer Phoenix Labs has also introduced the new Ostian Winter Event , the new Aegis Fortitude Perk, and a whole host of gameplay and quality-of-life changes with the game’s latest patch.
