Elder Scrolls Online Offers A Sneak Peek At Scions Of Ithelia’s Bedlam Veil Dungeon
Elder Scrolls Online will be getting two new dungeons when its Scions of Ithelia DLC drops next week. We’ve gotten a look at what the Oathsworn Pit will look like, now it’s time to catch a peek at the second of the pair, the Bedlam Veil dungeon.
Fa-Nuit-Hen, a Daedric warrior demi-prince and Lord of Maelstrom, will be taking center stage in Bedlam Veil as he enlists your help to prevent a mysterious cult from getting their hands on a powerful relic. He is also the creator of the single-player Maelstrom Arena that most players will probably be familiar with.
“Think of [Bedlam Veil] as a sort of storehouse where Fa-Nuit-Hen keeps treasures, memories, and all the unused materials of creation that do not make an appearance in the arenas,” said one of ESO’s writer-designers. “It isn’t visited very frequently, so Fa-Nuit-Hen’s interest is piqued when a cult known as the Blind Path start rooting around in there, and they need capable warriors to help them stop the cult from getting what they want.”
Most of Bedlam Veil is still under construction as Fa-Nuit-Hen works to mold and shape the demi-plane to his designs. It’s littered with enormous floating rocks that you’ll have to navigate as you battle your way through the Blind Path cultists and Darkshard monstrosities to confront the dungeon’s final boss – the Blind.
Rewards for completing the dungeon include new mementos and collectibles, a new monster mask, and three new item sets including the Blind Path Induction light armor set.
Scions of Ithelia launches on PC and Mac on March 11 and on PlayStation and Xbox consoles on March 26, setting the stage for the Gold Road Chapter’s launch in June.
