Elder Scrolls Online’s Scions Of Ithelia DLC And Update 41 Now Live On The PTS
Elder Scrolls Online may have shifted away from year-long narrative arcs, but its update schedule has remained relatively the same. That means that we’ll soon be diving into the fantasy MMORPG’s first major update of the year, the Scions of Ithelia DLC, featuring two new four-player dungeons: the Oathsworn Pit and Bedlam Veil.
The Oathsworn Pit serves as a training ground for the Daedric prince Malacath’s loyal followers who are now locked in a battle with a tyrannical group of wood elves called the Recollection. You’ll be tasked with eliminating the invaders and enacting revenge on behalf of the fallen in the name of the Daedric prince.
Bedlam Veil, the workshop of Fa-Nuit-Hen, has also been invaded by cultists who call themselves the Blind Path. Lead by a Daedra known as The Blind, they’ve seized the workshop to search for a mysterious artifact locked away in an ancient vault and its up to you to protect it.
Rewards for completing the new dungeons include new gear sets, achievements, collectibles, and more.
ZeniMax will also be rolling out Update 41 for the base game alongside the DLC’s release. The free update will include the prologue quest for the Gold Road Chapter along with three new Rewards of the Worthy PvP sets and a new Antiquity. It will also introduce a plethora of quality-of-life changes and improvements, including the unification of standard gear and Cyrodiil repair kits, the ability to stack siege equipment, and an increase to Undaunted key rewards.
Update 41 will also change the minimum system requirements for the game and introduce new graphic setting presets.
The Scions of Ithelia DLC and Update 41 are now live on the public test server ahead of their release on March 11 on PC/Mac and on March 26 on PlayStation and Xbox consoles. You can check out the latest PTS patch notes on the Elder Scrolls Online official forums.
