Figureheads Beat Phantasy Star Online 2 For The PlayStation Store's Most Popular Free-To-Play Game Last Week
After a less-than-successful run as a PC-exclusive game lasting nearly two years, Square Enix released its free-to-play mech shooter MMORPGs alike being ported to consoles, so it was relatively unsurprising news.
It seems that it was, in fact, a good move, as the PlayStation Store rankings for the week of April 3rd to April 9th place Figureheads as the top free-to-play game on the PlayStation Store, beating reigning champion Phantasy Star Online 2. As such, it gets the honor of sitting alongside top PlayStation 4 game Star Ocean: Till the End of Time Director's Cut and top PlayStation Vita game Higurashi When They Cry in the Japanese PlayStation Store's newsletter.
You can find the full set of free-to-play rankings here. As of this writing, Figureheads is still the top free-to-play game.
