Ghost In The Shell Online Now First Assault, First Trailer Live

Ghost In The Shell Online, the first-person shooter from Neople, creators of First Assault." Or "Ghost In the Shell: Stand Alone Complex Online: First Assault," but that title is a bit wordy so let's just go with "First Assault." They've also put out the first trailer for the game today, filled with action and the song Radioactive by Imagine Dragons.

I'll be the first to it that I was a bit skeptical about this game, being a free-to-play shooter based on a franchise that I like quite a bit. But this looks surprisingly fast-paced and fun. The game looks like it belongs in the current generation of free-to-play games.

For more information, or to sign up for the beta, head over to the official site. Closed beta testing will begin on October 1st. The first test will run from October 1-4 with later tests unannounced as of yet. Players that in these tests will get an exclusive "First Assault" weapon skin.
