It‘s Raining Dinosaurs In Capcom‘s New Co-op Exosuit Shooter ‘Exoprimal’
Portals and Jurassic Park come together in Capcom’s new cooperative third-person shooter – Exoprimal. It’s the year 2043 and humanity is being threatened by hungry rampaging raptors that spew out from portals across the globe. The only thing that’s keeping them at bay are Exofighters, mercenaries clad in state-of-the-art Exosuits designed to help them combat and eliminate the dinosaur threat.
“Exoprimal pioneers a new multiplayer experience rooted in co-op – but with a competitive edge. In the game’s main mode, Dino Survival, teams fight for every breath against countless dinosaurs while racing to complete missions before rival squads in 5v5 matches. A dynamic mix of objectives keeps players on their guard and ensures each match is different form the last. Exofighters will need to stay on their toes as hunts transition into precious cargo deliveries or desperate last stands against relentless assaults.”
Each Exosuit comes with its own strengths, weaknesses, and abilities. Assault models like the Zephyr melee fighter and the Deadeye marksman excel at quickly eliminating enemy swarms, while the tanky shield-bearing Roadblock and the type Witchdoctor help keep team alive to fight another day. Players will also have the ability to swap between Exosuits at any time to adapt to any kind of situation.
Exoprimal will be launching on Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S in 2023. Check out the action-packed announce trailer and the developer overview video right after the jump. You can also warp over to the Exoprimal official site for more info.
