Major Shards Online Release Adds Necromancy, Free Trial Weekend

A major Shards Online release went live today and it brings with it quite a few new major features. Players can now practice the art of Necromancy. The lower levels of the Catacombs and the final boss, Death, have been introduced. Young dragons can now be tamed. Twelve new "rare resources" were added, allowing players to craft more advanced gear. They can then sell said gear in shops that are run straight out of their own homes.

To celebrate the release of this update and getting through Steam Greenlight, all trial s are being reactivated for a trial weekend. The trial weekend begins tomorrow, July 14th, and runs through the weekend.
