Metro Conflict Is Shutting Down On April 25th

Metro Conflict will be shut down on April 25th, less than a year after it entered Open Beta. The reason for the shut down seems to be that the developer, Red Duck, intends to republish the game through another publisher. As such, OGPlanet has decided to shut their service down before the move to the new publisher's service occurs. It does not appear that the game is being shut down due to being unsuccessful, even though Steam Charts numbers might imply that.

Players will continue to be able to purchase in-game weapons with GP and WP, but the ability to purchase anything with Astros will be disabled. Refunds for items purchased with Astros after March 1st will be provided in form of the equivalent number of Astros by April 29th.
