Mortal Online 2 Further Increases Server Capacity, Removes All Extra Myrland Instances
Star Vault continues to work on stabilizing the move on to releasing new content. The sandbox MMORPG’s latest update further increases server capacity eliminating the need for the extra Myrland instances.
With the servers now able to accommodate all players on a single continent, the additional Myrland continents which were added to help distribute the population have now been removed. This paves the way for the addition of new continents which was the original plan before issues with overpopulation got in the way.
The latest update also comes with improvements to the trade UI, player housing, and player tags. Players now have a clear indication of who they’re trading with, houses can no longer be placed within 20 meters of another house, and player names can now be seen from farther away. Pet behavior has also been improved and will no longer attack players on their owner’s gray list. Players will also no longer be flagged as a criminal when they use their pet to attack another player during a duel.
The team has also added Tier 2 upgrades for the T Wall section in keep spots as well as dynamic spawn locations across the game world that can spawn different AI.
