New World Devs Tease ‘A Lot’ Coming In 2024 For Both PvE And PvP Gameplay

The New World dev team has come together for their final Forged in Aeternum and community Q&A video for 2023. As you might expect, the video offers several teasers on what the team has been brewing for the year, or at least the first few months into it.

One of the concerns that came up during the Q&A was the lack of new content throughout February and March 2024. The team didn’t directly address the concern, but defended the partial roap, saying that their “working [their] tail off” to deliver everything that’s coming in the first three months of 2024. That includes improvements to the group finder, cross-world expeditions, the new Winter Rune Forge season trial, new artifacts, gamepad , and the return of the Springtime Bloom and Rabbit’s Revenge in-game events.

The team also touched on Season 4’s delayed and buggy launch, cross-world arenas, and chromatic seals, along with a promise to focus on improving both PvE and PvP experiences next year. They were close-mouthed about exactly what’s coming but they did say that it’s going to be “a lot.”
