Old School RuneScape Rolls Out The Final God Wars Dungeon Boss – Nex, The Fifth General

Today’s Old School RuneScape update brings the final phase of the God Wars dungeon to the fantasy MMORPG, featuring a new monstrous group boss – Nex, the Fifth General. Nex originally came out in the original RuneScape in January 2011 and now comes to the classic version 11 years later.

“Dwelling in the Ancient Prison beneath the God Wars Dungeon, Nex can only be accessed once players have completed the Desert Treasure quest and a miniquest to unlock the Frozen Door. This iced-up access point has existed since the Dungeon was launched but has remained sealed, until now! Once inside the Prison, players must crush through a formidable army before reaching Nex herself.”

Groups of 80 players can take on the new encounter for a chance to loot valuable rewards, including the Ancient Godsword, the Zaryte Crossbow, the Torva Armor Set, and more. Every player who participates in the epic boss fight has a chance to obtain a unique item. The better your performance the higher your chances are at receiving more loot.

Aside from completing the pre-requisite quest, players must also have an active subscription to be able to open the Frozen Doors that lead to the new encounter. More information can be found on the Old School RuneScape official site.
