The Jagex reported record-breaking player numbers a day after Trailblazer Reloaded’s launch, peaking at around 190,000 concurrent players on a Wednesday afternoon.

Meanwhile, the team has also fixed a bug that prevented alchemy spells from generating gold and a Treasure Seeker exploit that allowed players to open a large number of bugged casket rewards all at once. Ill-gotten rewards have been rolled back and offending players have been punished accordingly.

“Players opening in excess of 50 caskets (all the way up to beyond 1,000) will receive temporary bans and also have log slots wiped + clue items removed,” Jagex explained. “They'll be able to participate in the League on another , but we believe other players should have a chance to catch up and feel that players opening hundreds of bugged caskets knew to some extent that what they were doing wasn't expected behavior.”
