Overwatch 2 Is Making Its Way To Steam Next Month; More Blizzard Games To Follow
As Overwatch 2’s playerbase continues its “sequential decline,” Blizzard is looking to release the hero shooter to a brand-new audience by bringing it to Steam. The game is set to launch on Valve’s digital platform on August 10th, allowing s to play the game outside of the Battle.net client. You’ll still need a Battle.net to play though.
Other titles will be following in Overwatch 2’s footsteps in the future, although Blizzard says that they’re still in the process of evaluating which games will be making its way to Steam. In the meantime, you can look forward to Tracer, Winston, and the rest of the gang’s arrival on Steam next month.
