Pax Dei Is Making Death Markers Easier To Find And Touching Up Its Game World
For a game that’s labelled as a social MMORPG, Pax Dei has some pretty hardcore death mechanics. When you die, a tombstone will appear where you fell, which will contain all the equipment and items you’ve been carrying. In PvP, this means that players will be able to loot some, if not all of your items and gear.
To make the retrieval slightly less tedious, players who get killed out in the field will soon see a bright pillar of light that will mark their tombstone’s location. The handy death marker will be introduced in the next alpha build along with new crafting recipes, new weapons and armor, and various visual enhancements.
Developer Mainframe Industries has yet to tie down a release date for the build, but an NDA-covered friends and family playtest is on the horizon. In the meantime, you can take a gander at some new preview screenshots on the Pax Dei Discord. The game itself is set to launch into early access this spring.
We’re currently working on making changes and adding new content to #PaxDei in preparation for our next Alpha test.
