Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis Delays Summoner Class To Late 2022
Announcing delays probably isn’t the best way to end the year, but SEGA has just pushed back the Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis Summoner class launch from spring 2022 to later in the year. The developers made the unfortunate announcement during their latest Headline stream.
According to the devs, they’ve decided to delay the Summoner’s arrival to focus on improving and polishing existing content. Players are also hungry for new content and story chapters and are calling for more frequent updates, given that SEGA only releases major updates twice or thrice a year, which has pushed the Summoner further down the priority list along with an unannounced gunblade-wielding class.
The updated development roap can be found on the Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis official site. You can also check out the most recent Headline stream below.
