PlanetSide Arena ‘Teams’ Mode Temporarily Disabled In All Regions
It’s nearly been a week since PlanetSide Arena launched into Steam Early Access, and in spite of mixed reviews, the game seems to be doing fairly well. The battle royale shooter’s 3-man Teams Mode, however, seems to be getting the brunt of negative which is why Daybreak will be temporarily pulling the game mode in all regions to focus on Squads Mode. The announcement was made by Executive Producer Andy Sites on Twitter:
Based on over the weekend, we are going to disable "Teams" mode for the next several days in all regions. Doing this in order to focus our efforts on "Squads" mode, which we believe better represents the @PlanetSideArena experience in of team play and scale.

“After the this weekend, it basically reinforced our need to focus on Squads and other larger-scale game modes,” adds Sites. “It just better represents what makes Planetside so special and unique.” Daybreak has yet to announce when the Teams Mode will be coming back or whether it will be coming back at all. We’ll let you know as soon as more information comes to light.
