PLAYERUNKNOWN's Battlegrounds Has Sold 2 Million Copies, Overtakes H1Z1: King Of The Kill

PLAYERUNKNOWN's Battlegrounds is continuing along its path of insane popularity, having recently smashed through the 2 million copies sold milestone. Developer Bluehole made the announcement today and stated that, in celebration of reaching 2 million copies sold, it is matching any donations to Gamers Outreach up to $100,000.

In other fun news, PLAYERUNKNOWN's Battlegrounds started the month off strong by can overtaking H1Z1: King of the Kill. According to SteamCharts, the game hit an all-time peak concurrent count of 144,640 yesterday, around 7,000 s higher than H1Z1: King of the Kill's all-time peak concurrent count of 137,985. Battlegrounds also has a much less dramatic curve between peak hours and off-hours. As of this writing, it is the third most popular game on Steam with around 120,000 players online.
