PSO2: New Genesis Adds New Combat Sector, Boss Fight, And Customization Options

The remainder of Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis’ January content drop is now live on the servers featuring new instances, new side quests, and several character customization-related quality-of-life updates.

Players can now make their way to the new Neusen Plant combat sector, take down a new boss called Quartz Skodin, and embark on a new mini-episode. The update also tweaks the Trinitas: Geometric Labyrinth challenge to make it easier to complete and adds new trigger quest variants for Stia urgent quests.

Players can also now upgrade 7 and 8-star rarity gear past level 60, enjoy higher gathering rates in the Aelio region, and mix and match accessories, change character poses and movements on the fly, and preview emotes, among other game improvements.
