PUBG Celebrates One Year Since Its Early Access Launch
It’s been a year since PlayerUknown’s Battlegrounds launched into Early Access. That’s one year of jumping out of airplanes and shooting each other up, and the PUBG team has released a video to mark the occasion.
Creative Director Brendan “PLAYERUNKNOWN” Greene and PUBG CEO Chang Han Kim thanks fans and players for their and talk about the early days of PUBG. As part of the celebration, all PC players will receive an exclusive SCAR-L weapon skin. All you have to do is from now until May 1st.

Weapon skins you say? Yes, you heard that right. The devs will be introducing weapon skins into the game with the next update. Skins can be acquired from the new Triumph and Raider crates. According to Polygon, Triumph crates can be unlocked by purchasing Weapon Cosmetic Keys, while Raider crates can be unlocked for free.
