Star Trek Online Extends Emperor’s Will Event Due To Progression Issues
Star Trek Online’s ongoing Emperor’s Will event when they rolled out a completely unrelated patch for the sci-fi MMORPG earlier this week. When the patch came out, players suddenly found that they weren’t earning credits from completing the required tasks to obtain the event’s T6 Sommerville ship reward.
Cryptic has since rolled out another patch to fix the issue and has extended the event until October 14th to give players more time to unlock the scout ship. Meanwhile, the studio has announced the return of its annual Halloween event on October 13th featuring the Cat’s Tale task force operation and the all-new Skeleton Crew and Witches’ Brew patrols.
Completing the required tasks during the event will reward players with daily progress towards unlocking this year’s grand prize: Sylvia's Feline Charm and the Transmorphic Containment Universal Console. Hopefully, Cryptic won’t break the event with another patch when it comes out.
