Star Trek Online Rolls Out Refractions Update And 13th Anniversary Event On PC
The conclusion to Star Trek Online’s ongoing Terran Gambit story arc is at hand with the release of its Refractions update today, at least for PC anyway. Console players will have to wait for their turn to take on the god-like mirror version of Wesley Crusher at a later date.
“Wil Wheaton returns as Terran Emperor Westly Crusher, along with Gates McFadden as Terran Dr. Beverly Crusher, and Chase Masterson as Terran iral Leeta,” announced Cryptic Studios. “Players will experience the conclusion of the Terran Gambit arc where we find Terran Emperor Wesley Crusher has merged with The Other, and now wields its terrifying power. The Federation must find a way to put a stop to the emperor’s reign of terror as he makes a course to Earth, digitizing everything in his path.”
The update also kicks off the sci-fi MMORPG’s Dreadnought. The anniversary event will run until February 23rd.
