Star Trek Online to Hold Tribute for Leonard Nimoy
After the recent ing of the legendary Vulcan, Leonard Nimoy, fans all around the world have showed their grief through various methods, including vigils and ceremonies. Cryptic Studios will be offering something more permanent for the man who touched many lives throughout his illustrious career.
According to Executive Producer Steve Ricossa, "the Star Trek Online team will implement a standing in-game memorial to Spock and Leonard Nimoy this Thursday March 5th with our regular weekly maintenance."
It is fitting that they will pay homage to a character who is so intertwined with the Star Trek mythos, and who spread ideals of peace and friendliness off camera.
Other games, such as Star Citizen and Elite:Dangerous will also be making their own tributes, as such an icon goes beyond just Star Trek alone.
