Star Trek Universe Rolls Out Ascension Update Featuring Evil Wesley Crusher
The Mirror Universe’s evil version of Wesley Crusher is unveiled as the Terran emperor as the Star Trek Online. Wil Wheaton will be reprising his role as the brilliant Starfleet officer with a tyrannical twist in the sci-fi MMO’s latest featured episode – Eye of the Storm.
Ascension also introduces a new ground-based called “Storm Chasers” Task Force Operation and kicks off a new standalone in-game event called The Emperor’s Will. Acquire 20 Daily Progress points during the event to unlock the T6 Terran Somerville Scout Ship as the grand prize for the event with the option to earn Dilithium Ore once you’ve claimed the reward. Alternatively, you can also instantly complete the event by buying out remaining progress for a corresponding amount of Zen.
The update also brings with a new set of fleet rewards and general fixes, and expands the Elite Captain training system with Elite Bridge Officer Training. The new system will allow players to instantly upgrade their Bridge Officers by simply purchasing an ken. All players have been granted one free Elite Bridge Officer Token per which can be claimed in the Promotion Tab of the cash shop.
