The First Descendant Gets A Beta Start Date And A Gorgeous New Trailer

Players will soon be able to jump into Nexon’s The First Descendant as the South Korean developer announces the start date for the -op looter shooter’s fall beta test. The playtest will run from on October 20-26 and will feature ten playable characters called to choose from as players face off against an alien invasion force to save the world.

“In The First Descendant, you are called Descendants who inherited the unknown powers to save humanity in the world,” Nexon explained. “You are given a mission to fight against the invaders like huge bosses and monsters to protect the Ingris Continent, which is the hometown of humans. Throughout the gameplay, you can discover the secrets of the Descendant's unknown power and the Ingris continent one by one.”

Nexon first announced the game in 2021 as Project Magnum and only revealed its official title last month.
