The First Descendant Now Available For Pre-Loading Ahead Of Tomorrow’s Open Beta

The First Descendant will be kicking off its crossplay open beta tomorrow and is now available for pre-loading on Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The playtest is set to begin at 12 a.m. PST on September 19th and will end at 11:59 p.m. on September 25th.

Aside from getting to help Nexon test the looter shooter, those who manage to reach level 20 during the open beta test will also be rewarded with an exclusive back cosmetic that they’ll be able to claim on launch day. Testers will also reportedly receive a special emote, although that’s yet to be confirmed.

Testers can also look forward to new features and various gameplay improvement in the beta test, including new customization options, HDR and DLSS 3 , an enhanced UI, better movement and weapon effects, and improved parkour and grapple movements.
