World Of Warcraft Classic Is Introducing A Self-Found Mode For Its Hardcore Servers
Blizzard is making its World of Warcraft Classic hardcore servers even more hardcore with the addition of the Self-Found mode. The new mode will require you to put a lot more effort into finding items and gear with no one to rely on but yourself. The in-game mail, auction house, and all forms of trading will be disabled in addition to the permadeath rules that are already in place.
“Survival is the name of the game in Classic Hardcore realms, and while you don’t always have to go it alone, you might just want to,” teases Blizzard. “It will all be up to you and your ability to explore, gather, and create everything you need to survive in Azeroth…all on your own.”
If you’re up for the challenge, Self-Found mode will be available starting on February 29. It’ll be interesting to see what other self-inflicted rules Blizzard will be adding in the future to make an already hardcore experience the hardcorest it can be.
More information can be found in Blizzard’s latest This Week in WoW blog post, which once again includes items that are most definitely not coming this week.
