World Of Warcraft Previews Mists Of Pandaria Remix Event Coming In Patch 10.2.7

With the Dragonflight saga coming to an end, Blizzard is apparently looking to keep World of Warcraft players busy by rehashing old content until The War Within’s launch later this year.

The studio plans to begin testing Patch 10.2.7 soon, which will feature a limited-time event that will allow players to replay the Mists of Pandaria expansion at a boosted rate with the promise of new loot.

“World of Warcraft Remix is a time-limited event which allows players to re-experience the entirety of the Mists of Pandaria expansion at an accelerated rate from level 10 through 70,” Blizzard explains. “All loot has been completely overhauled and has powerful new effects allowing players to shape their experience, power up, and power on.”

The event will basically serve as a seasonal server of sorts where all created characters will automatically be converted to a normal character that can be used in the main game at the end of the event along with all the items, loot, and transmog sets they obtained.

Aside from the new loot, players will also earn a new currency called Bronze which can be used to upgrade items or purchase cosmetics, mounts, and pets that will also carry over to the main game.

“Head to a bazaar in any zone to purchase everything from class transmogs, to Mists of Pandaria mounts, toys, and more,” says the studio. “This allows players to purchase items that were previously unable to obtain or difficult to obtain as random drops by simply spending this new currency to add them to their ’s collection.”

Patch 10.2.7 will also kick off the final chapter in the Dragonflight narrative and will set the stage for The War Within in preparation for its launch this September.
