Wrath Of The Lich King Classic Rolls Out Its Final Content Update And A Surprise Feature

The epic conclusion to World of Warcraft Classic’s year-long Wrath of the Lich King story arc is at hand as Patch 3.4.3, a.k.a. Fall of the Lich King, hits the live servers. The final content phase for the classic expansion opens the gates to the Frozen Halls dungeon with The Frozen Throne raid following suit tomorrow.

“The final major raid in Wrath of the Lich King Classic opens at 3:00 p.m. PDT on Thursday, October 12, with twelve bosses spread across five different wings,” Blizzard said. “Here, Azeroth’s mightiest will face terrifying challenges before ascending to the Frozen Throne, where the Lich King and his runeblade, Frostmourne, await to deliver the heroes to their deaths.”

The patch also introduced several new features including one of the most-requested features in the original expansion – the random dungeon finder. After a year of stubbornly refusing to add a feature that was included in the original expansion, it looks like Blizzard suddenly had a change of heart and decided to give in to the WoW Classic community’s demands.

But wait, there’s more! Patch 3.4.3 also added a new difficulty for Titan Rune dungeons and nerfed the easiest level, introduced a new UI for pets and other collectibles, a new explosive trap for hunters, and a quest tracking system.
