GodsWar Online Overview
GodsWar Online (GWO) is a free-to-play 3D MMORPG that takes place in Ancient Greece. Play as a Priest, Warrior, Champion, or Mage and side with either the Athens faction or the Spartans faction. Cute, 3D graphics will make the world pop out as players explore and quest around the game. Acquire pets to boost stats and mounts to move faster. Level up quickly and forge your own gear. Enhance equipment with gems, or visit the Item Mall to pick up gear for real-world cash. Participate in special events during a specific time frame for rewards and experience. GWO also features a guild system, an AFK system (fights for you while you AFK), a master-and-apprentice system, and much more.
GodsWar Online Key Features:
- Forge Your Own Gear – increase the stats or level of equipment by applying gems to gear.
- Raise a Pet – pets have special abilities and powers that can help you out. Raise one, bind with them, or trade them.
- Fighting for Your Faction – faction battles can be fought where players can PK opposing faction players. Fight to capture cities and crush the enemy.
- Guild Altar Deity System – a twist on the normal guild system, where guilds can receive special stat boosts from worshipping certain deities.
- Cute, 3D Graphics – anime-inspired characters and backgrounds keep the atmosphere lighthearted.

Development History / Background:
GodsWar Online (GWO) is both developed and published by I Got Games (IGG), the same gaming company responsible for the mobile game, Castle Clash. GWO was IGG's first 3D MMORPG and remained in the alpha testing stage for a few years. It was fully released globally in May of 2009. The game also features a tie with Facebook Connect, where players can to Facebook through the separate GWO game client to receive rewards and invite friends.
