Old School RuneScape Rolls Out Hotfix To Squash Nex Encounter Bugs And Make It More Challenging

Nex: The Fifth General encounter, the final boss in the classic MMORPG’s God Wars dungeon.

Issues reported include Nex skipping phases and being immune to damage during certain phases, loot disappearing because there were too many items on a single tile, drops not displaying correctly, and players not receiving the Death Charge buff, all of which have been fixed with the patch.

The maximum number of players allowed to participate in the encounter has also been lowered from 80 to 60 based on player that the encounter wasn’t challenging enough. Nex’s attacks will also now hit more players and her special attacks will no longer have a pre-determined order during special phases. The attack delay when Nex casts Soul Split during the final phase has also been removed.
